I have been involved with the occult my entire life, due to the fact that both my maternal and paternal grandmother were practitioners. Their spiritual practices centered around Santeria and related African traditions, and while I have the highest respect for these traditions and know that their workings can be very powerful and effective, I have always preferred more simplified styles of magick. This lead me to study what I like to call "European magick" and eventually simplify my practice as much as possible to obtain results without requiring elaborate set ups or ceremonies. I still do perform these on occasion, but it is rare that I do as it is rarely necessary in order to obtain the desired results.
